P953 z-wave (multi-wave) controller is waterproof and made for swimming pool environment. The controller is made to interface with the 5-channel PE653 contactor.... but can operate 1 other z-wave device, and 4 channels on the PE953. The sensor is designed to protect the pool and spa equipment and plumbing against freeze damage.
