Tips
for choosing box-type water heater timer
1. 30 Amps or more for
safety. Most 240V water heaters are 3500, 4500 and 5500 Watts divided
by 240 Volts =
14.5 Amps, 18.8 Amps, and 23 Amps.
2. In southern states, outdoor installation in
direct sun will shorten
life of timer.
