 1. P1353ME Programmable timer P1353ME is a 3-circuit, 24 hour programmable timer with 3 on-off events per day, per circuit, repeated each day. The 3 circuits can control 3 separate loads (pump, lights, spa etc) ... and control each with same or different schedule .... or the P1353ME can control 2-speed pool pump and 1 other load depending on which of the 6 modes is set. Has a Countdown feature. Use 3 white buttons on face of timer to manually override programming, such as switching on the pool pump. Each of the three 17 amp relays is rated for 1 Hp pump/motor at 120V AC, or 3 Hp at 240 volt AC. input voltage is 120V AC. Or use jumper on back to select 240 volt AC. This is the voltage that powers the timer at terminals 1 and 2. Power must be off before any wiring is done or accessories added. There are accessory connections on back of timer for firemen's switch and Intermatic 178PA28A freeze sensor. 2. P4043ME and PE24VA Valve

can control two or three PE24VA
motorized valve
actuators to toggle the pool pump water flow
between swimming pool and spa.See image How it works: Connect 120V to white-black wires on back of the P4043ME, or connect 240V to red-black wires. Connect same 120 or 240 volt power to the remote switch connection for remote operation via ordinary single pole switch, spring-wound countdown timer, Intermatic radio receiver, home automation etc, or connect the remote switch terminals to the 5-channel PE653RC multiwave receiver shown below and use Intermatic hand held remote.. If a momentary switch, latching contactor etc is chosen instead of ordinary on-off switch, then move jumpers on back of P4043ME from 1-2 to 2-3. After connecting 120 or 240 volt power to the P4043ME, the internal transformer produces safe 24 volt AC output. When the 24 volt outputs are activated via the remote switch or the 5-channel PE653RC receiver shown below, it sends 24 volt through the 20' long 3-wire cable going to 2 or 3 PE24VA motorized actuators that rotate the water valves (installed as part of the pool-spa plumbing) causing the water flow to toggle from pool to spa. PE953 Hand held Remote For people wanting hand-held wireless control over pool functions, Intermatic makes the hand held PE953 remote control that works with the 5-circuit PE653RC multiwave transceiver shown below. Works with 'MultiWave functions and other Z-Wave devices.' The hand held PE953 will communicate with one PE653RC receiver to control up to 5 loads including a P4043ME valve actuator and 3 additional loads or a 2-speed pump and 2 additional loads. PE653RC 5-channel multiwave receiver The 5-channel (with 5 relays) PE653RC multiwave receiver comes in a durable plastic weatherproof enclosure with override buttons located on face. The 5 relays can control 5 different 120-240 volt circuits, with 5 different schedules, or control 2-speed pool pump and 3 other circuits. It can control 1 or 2-speed motor, low voltage lights, blower etc.  Relay 1 is rated 17 amp full load, relays 2-5 rated 10 amp full load. Rating sheet Loads are hardwired to the PE653RC What to do: Install the 5-channel PE653RC receiver on top of any control panel by drilling 1-3/8" hole and install on top of any enclosure, and then program all operations into the hand held PE953. To avoid drilling, buy the PE653RC package The hand held remote wirelessly signals operations to the PE653RC receiver. moduleThe P5043ME Expansion module lets you control multiple pieces of equipment like a pool, spa, fountain etc using the hand-held PE953 hand-held remote and 5-channel PE653RC. You can control 2 heaters, plus control up to 4 PE24VA actuators to toggle water flow between pool and spa, plus control 1 or 2 speed pool pump. P5043ME requires 240 volt input. Outputs are safe 24 volt AC. What to do: Install the 5-channel PE653RC on top of any any Intermatic enclosure or control center. Snap the P5043 expansion module into the enclosure. Connect low voltage (24 volt) communication cable, and valve actuator cables, paying attention to polarity. The timer has automatic daylight saving with seasonal timing adjustment (10 to 120 minutes). Enclosure comes with space for 4 circuit breakers, plus 3 optional spaces for switch and GFCI outlet for extension cord etc. The optional PE24065RC is actuator control that can toggle pool pump between pool and spa, and includes two actuators that attach to valves and rotate both valves to switch water flow from pool to spa. 60 amp panel is maximum amount of breaker load that can be put onto the busbar.
