Game show push button wiring

Pushing the button turns on Load, and activates a relay.
When the relay 1 is ON, then relay 2 cannot turn on, so load cannot activate. Only one load can activate, and when it is activated, the other load cannot turn on.
The trick is to route the Hot wire from each push button through the NO terminals on the other relay.

With this wiring, each contestant must push and hold their button.... if they release their button, or if a cheap push button loses contact momentarily, then the other light will come on.

The solution is
a) Use higher quality momentary push button. Do not use doorbell button. Doorbell button is unreliable but could be used for test wiring. Buy extra push buttons to identify the ones that are durable and not defective.
b) To solve problem of early release, add a 20 second delay timer to circuit so contestant hits the button and the light stays on for duration of delay, even if the contestant releases button.
c) A latching push button would solve the release problem, but would need to be pulled back up after each push.

Two contestants require 2 - LY2 relays or similar
Three contestants require 3 - LY3 relays: Each LY3 relay has 3 sets of NO contacts.
Four contestants require 4 - LY4 relays, or 4 - LY3 relays and 4 - LY2 relays. Each button would activate 2 relays, and each relay would cancel the other buttons that were not pushed first. The wiring would work same as illustrated.
