| The Buck-Boost Transformer has four
separate windings; two windings in the primary and two windings in the
secondary. A Buck converter steps down (bucks down) an input (primary) voltage to a lower output (secondary) voltage level. A Boost converter steps up (boosts up) an input (primary) voltage to a higher output voltage level. Buck–boost transformers can be used to power low voltage circuits including control, lighting circuits, or applications that require 12, 16, 24, 32 or 48 volts, consistent with the design's secondaries. |
