Wake up: The only folks promising unlimited hot water and effortless water heating experience while saving money with a tankless are the promotors of tankless. Tankless are expensive to buy, expensive to operate, expensive to maintain, expensive to replace. The promise of unlimited hot water is inconsistant with water conservation and saving money.
The promise of longer life of tankless product is not backed by the warranty.
Tankless are maintenance heavy. Problems are difficult to diagnose. Problems can go unresolved.
You are connecting a complex computer with external sensors to your plumbing and electrical lines and to a gas burner with a vent pipe to outdoors. Plumbing lines, gas burners, vent pipes, and household electrical systems have plenty of problems on their own without a computer.

Average faucet 2 gal per minute flow rate/ Average tub 2.5 gal per minute flow rate
1/2 gallon per minute means: Faucet must fill quart in 30 seconds and gallon in 60 seconds
3/4 gallon per minute means: Faucet must fill quart in 20 seconds and gallon in 80 seconds
Crossover and Low water pressure can reduce flow rates

Higher thermostat setting can reduce hot water flow when more cold water is added at faucet to moderate temperature.
