to use Find feature on web browser > Ctrl + F keys on keyboard a) Ctrl+F will open word search. Look for small window at top or bottom of browser. Lets you find any word located on page. Lets you word-search for title b) Type in words or partial words. For example you want information on GM40 timer. Then type in GM, or GM4, or GM40 c) For example you want tankless resources: Type in less, or tankl d) You want information on gas water heater Type in gas-wat or as-wa Notice the hyphen PUT HYPHEN BETWEEN WORDS (do not put hyphens between letters, just between words) I put hyphen between words on titles e) Use as few letters as possible and click through possibilities. There are several thousand files f) Click the file. Read the information. g) With .pdf manuals: Open the .pdf and save if you want. Each .pdf has a link going to one of my webpages. This webpage will contain related information. To open link at top of .pdf: Double-click link to highlight. Right click link. Select open in new tab. Or download manual to your computer, and click link at top of .pdf h) Word-Search the .pdf using Ctrl+F: After you open (or download) any .pdf file, you can also use Ctrl+F feature to word-search most .pdf manuals i) Word-Search individual webpages using Ctrl+F: webpages Except do not put hyphen between words |
