input / 24volt output/ Nema 3R weather resistant indoor-outdoor plastic enclosure Larger image no rain sensor terminals Timer has day skipper/ no rain sensor/ 1 year warranty/ up to 44 on-off operations per day/ has ON-OFF-AUTO switch 120 Volt AC Input: use max 20 amp breaker with 12 gauge wire. 24 Volt AC Output via 2 yellow wires: Connect yellow wires to 24Volt sprinkler head. Sprinkler head advances to next station each time Insert 156T1950A trippers on outer edge of yellow dial. Each tripper represents 15 minutes/ Set minimum 12 minutes- max 20 hours 45 minutes Insert four consecutive trippers for 1 hour of watering time. When 1 hour is over, then timer no longer sends 24Volts to sprinkler head, and sprinkler automatically advances to next watering station. When timer dial rotates around to the next tripper, water resumes at next watering station. Silver Pointer located on timer dial is stationary. To set current time, rotate dial until current time lines up with silver pointer. 14-day skipper wheel |

Wiring Tips | |
Keep wires straight Use solid copper, 600 volt wire (voltage printed on insulation sheathing of each wire. Never use extension cord for permanent residential or commercial wiring. Avoid stranded wire. All wire expands and contracts as power is turned on-off. Heat causes stranded wire to splay apart and get loose, eventually arcing and melting the terminal. Do not use solder on electrical connections. Solder melts with heat as power is turned on-off. If wiring terminals are corroded, try using a toothbrush and vinegar. If wiring terminals are rusted, try using WD-40 and/or fingernail sanding board. If wiring terminals are burned, try using bit of sandpaper or sanding board. If wiring terminals are melted, then timer is probably bad ... it is risky to connect wire to a damaged electrical device ... Keep timer door closed to prevent fire ... the closed door starves a fire from oxygen and extinguishes flame. |
