3 water heaters. Two 80 gallon heat pump water heaters + 200 gallon storage + one 55 gallon 5500 watt residential water heater used as tempering tank added to incoming cold water line.
80 + 80 + 200 + 55 = 360 x .7 = 290 gallons usable hot water
Result: will meet high demand when 8 people are in home.
Calculations show: Peak for 1 oversized bathtub, 2 regular bathtub, 5-minute showers, 8 people household: expected usage 300 gallon, so this meets goal.
*The big shower becomes more usable without consuming all hot water.
