When the tariffs spike consumer prices, people will endure the short-term shortages, and then pay the additional toll.
And afterward it will doom the republicans unless they can quickly incite another war, as if we-the-people ever granted them permission ... , but when the tariffs eventually dissolve into smuggling, gangs and murder to feed the marketplace, the prices will never come back down ... because the voters always lose, and the politicians and corporations who claim the market is free when it's not, will get a greater boost than any of the tax cuts that we never agreed with ... all caused by a tariff we-the-people were never asked to approve, by a man who never paid tax, because he objects to any tariff we would impose on him.
