How to wire EH40 & WH40 hot water heater timer

Each timer comes with detailed instructions > read instructions since they vary over time.
Diagrams illustrate how wiring looks inside box.
Note ground wires are kept away from other wiring. Note romex connectors used where wire enters metal box. Buy two romex connectors per timer. Tighten all screws firmly against copper wire.
