Theological rebuttal
Evolution doesn't dismiss rapid change or radical flooding
... in fact scientists discovered that the geological record shows
sudden, radical changes are how the world works
... and that animals become different when things do change
I’ve never heard a scientific explanation for how life started …
The only people telling everyone how life started are theocrats like
you who claim that god talks only to them.
Who are you to say that god doesn’t talk through
everybody?
Who are you to say god cannot wave his hand and cause animals to
change?
Where does it say this is not his province?
Who are you to declare that flooding caused by global warming would not
be from the hand of god?
Are you claiming that past floods were the work of god, but future
floods are not?
You are defending words written in a book from 2000 years ago that came
out of the middle east
... and this book was assembled by a committee of people who chose to
exclude some of the writings
... and this book has been translated and altered several times to keep
people informed
... and these translations may be how god counterbalances the march of
time
... and the march of time is how god causes all things to change,
including language and ideas.
Who are you to say god informed man only once or that god cannot inform
people however he pleases? ...
Who are you to say that god didn’t inform man by letting us build
telescopes and fashion mathematical understanding?
Are you claiming that science is not the work of god?
It sounds to me like you don't truly believe god controls this very
complicated universe.
It sounds to me like you want to tell everybody what god’s plan is.
… and isn’t that outside god’s word?
