My opinion of typical web links posted on facebook:
they are anecdotal influencers
... clear writing, brief overview, lightly sprinkled with hints of research
... few if any further reference links
... openly cite already-known 'facts'
.... without showing relational proportions for harming people in your town
... or your community
... or how the events differ from historical events of similar consequence
.... nor offer remedy
... short of blaming some imaginary fear
... or assumption of 'what is bad'
... easily worth 4¢ per word they paid the writer
... to casually research other sources and keep it short
... offering the cookie-cutter uniformity of cement blocks...
... so some algorithm can post content with screaming headlines
....intent on pumping targeted ads and pop-ups into your head
... by knowing your preferences
... because it's what you click on
... because simple is better
... because kids eat big maks instead of broccoli
... and all of us are still kids
... leaving me to wonder if vegetarians seek the same content
... as non vegetarians
... I'm a particular ass
