Letter to Nancy about Osteoporosis 2022

I understand you and Jackie are not into 'conventional medicine.'

My experience:
I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in 2007.
For some reason, I failed to follow through with the prescribed pills, Actonel.

Then starting in 2019, I suffered a compressed T6 vertebrae.
They were able to solve the pain with a quick day surgery that injected cement into the bone to prevent further collapse.

A bone density test then showed my number was 5 ... which is a step below the worse density of 4.
Over next several months, I suffered 4 more vertebra breaks, caused by coughing.

I started taking a shot to improve the density, so now, a year later my density 3.5 on a 4 point scale, but not likely to improve more even with the medicine.

My latest MRI shows my spine is continuing to collapse onto the nerves going to lower part of body, with a poor prognosis of stopping the progression of further damage, resulting in paralysis etc.
The neurosurgeon described my bones as styrafoam.

I wish beyond the stars that I had started the prescription in 2007 to halt the progression, but I can't go back in time.

I am writing because I don't want Jackie to suffer my condition, merely because action was not taken sooner rather than later.
